Principal duties and responsibilities
• Design and review the processes, tools for the delivery of software and data components
• Optimize and invent tools for tracking the status of deliveries and their quality
• Improve existing processes and tools to make them more effective.
• Target maximum automation level for the processes and improve speed, efficiency, and robustness.
• Cater for other teams in implementing improved processes and pipelines.
• Work in partnership with multi-disciplinary global and remote teams.
• Be a role model and mentor junior team members.
Required skills:
• Proven experience in process automation and improvement.
• Indepth knowledge of testing both software and data.
• Experience with architecting and developing software testing environments and tools is a must-have.
• Excellent programming skills in Python is a must.
• A solid understanding of Unix/Linux and shell scripting and Groovy.
• Experience with CI servers. Knowledge of Jenkins.
• Proficient in using Git. Knowledge of BitBucket, GitLab, and Artifactory is a plus.
• Proficient in continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Collaborative nature. You will be in a central role between different teams and stakeholders across the globe.
• Interest and ability to learn new skills, programming languages, and tools as needed.
Preferred skills:
• Experience with Azure or other public cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Singularity, etc. is a plus
• Experience with ModelOps/MLOps is a plus
• Knowledge of machine learning pipelines (data processing, modeling, deployment, monitoring) is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps is a plus
• Experience with speech or language technology is a plus
