Skills/technical knowledge
4-6 years of strong development background in Java/J2EE Technologies
Strong experience in Core Java, Advanced Java, Design Patterns, Algorithms, Session Management, OOPS concepts, data structure, Collections, interface, multi-threading & MVC
Experience as a Middleware developer using Java/J2EE technologies and Message queues
3+ years of experience in building API’s and web services (SOAP and Restful) & integrating with external applications
Strong in JAVA 8(Lamda, Streams, DateTime API etc.)
Proficient in Spring Framework(Spring Boot, Spring Security)
Experience in application server(e.g., Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS)
Experience in build tool (e.g., Maven, Gradle etc.,)
Has used Version controlling using GIT, VSTS & Teamforge etc
Developing an application using Eclipse IDE or IntelliJ is preferred
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL & JDBC drivers
Experience in cloud platform – AWS/Azure/GCP
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demand
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; should be able to collaborate across business teams (stakeholders) and other technology groups as needed.
Exposure to Payments industry is a plus
Desired Skills
Experience in Google cloud platform - GCP Pub/Sub, Datastore, BigQuery, AppEngine, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Memory Store, Redis etc
Experience with API Gateways - Datapower, APIM , Apigee etc
