This is a Senior Software Engineer role at a Global Grade 13, reporting to the Head of Solution & Value Engineering in Business Area - Process Automation Digital based in Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible to develop and enhance complete and sizable software modules in the assigned software engineering function in one or more of the following areas of platform and application software development / software quality engineering / software testing / DevOPS / cyber security / software release support and maintenance. Apply the principles of software engineering for analysis, design, development, unit and integration testing, and debugging of computer software based on distributed architecture including Cloud / on-premise /edge architecture and design.

• Ability to understand existing code and problem-solving skills
• Analyzing and gathering requirements and proposing appropriate technical solutions
• Working with Development Manager, System Architect and Product Owner to define scope, features and estimates for new projects
• Providing technical guidance to team members
