Senior Software Engineer

3 - 6 yrs experience in building scalable applications in Python.

Work from office - Bengaluru (J P Nagar)

Currently working in a B2C company Mandatory

 Good grasp on REST API concepts and ability to build them using AWS API gateway.

 Extensive experience deploying AWS infrastructure as Code using tools such as CloudFormation and Python Boto3.

 Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle.

 Strong knowledge of Git version control system.

 Strong knowledge of Python 3 standard library.

 Good understanding of Python Enhancement Proposals (PEPs).

 Quick learner and technical problem-solving capabilities.

 Minimum 2 years of experience with AWS is desirable.

 Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.

 Knowledge of testing and linting tools, such as pytest, behave, pylint, flake8 and mypy.

 Knowledge of AWS Python SDK (boto3).

 Understanding of multi-process architecture and the threading limitations of Python.

 Understanding relational (SQL) versus document (NoSQL) data models.

 Familiarity with server-side template languages such as Jinja2, Mako, etc.

Good to have:

 AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or Sysop Administrator.

 Working in Agile and DevOps methodologies.

 Customer-focused with a passion for continuous improvement.

 Continuously find opportunities for new components or design improvements for the Platform
