About Merge:
Merge is a startup in the fiat-crypto banking and payments space. We completed a successful seed funding round with $+.5mn of investment from leading VCs including Octopus Ventures, Hashed, Coinbase Ventures, and more. We are building regulated solutions to bridge the gap between fiat and crypto for businesses.

Python - Fast API, Golang, ReactJS, Microservices, Distributed Systems, AWS, Terraform
What are we looking for?
We are looking for hands-on coders who love what they do, and have the knack for attention to detail.
They are looking for challenging opportunities which involve building products from scratch. Someone who is proactive with their work, and willing to work towards the common goal to achieve our mission and make Merge a successful business.
What will you be doing?
On a daily basis, some of your work will involve but is not limited to:
• Write clean, secure, and well-tested code
• Build tools and integrate systems to scale the effectiveness of the product
• Serve as a mentor and supporter for fellow developers and team members
Requirements
Skills That Will Help You Excel At Merge
Must have:
• 5+ years of experience in software development experience
• 3+ years of experience in building highly reliable and scalable APIs in Golang, Python, or Java
• 2+ years of experience in deploying and maintaining services in one of the cloud platforms (AWS preferably, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in designing and documenting the architecture of high throughput systems
• Hands-on experience in distributed systems and Microservices
• Excellent communication skills
Good to have:
• Hands on experience in provisioning Infrastructure through IaaC frameworks like terraform
• Experience in one of the Frontend frameworks(ReactJs or Angular)
• Mentored 3-4 junior engineers in a project
• Set-up / Managed CI/CD pipeline for service deployments
• Early stage startup experience (build/ 0 to 1 stage)
• Fintech or payments product experience
