Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and talented Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions, as well as mentoring and leading junior developers. This role requires a deep understanding of software development methodologies, as well as experience in software architecture, technical leadership, and project management.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Mentor and lead junior developers, providing technical guidance and support as needed
• Participate in code reviews to ensure that coding standards and best practices are followed
• Identify and resolve technical issues and roadblocks that arise during development
• Work with project managers to manage project timelines, scope, and budget
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend new tools and techniques to improve software development processes
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on back-end development
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
• Expertise in software architecture and design principles, with experience in developing complex software systems
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript (nodejs), or C#
• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and lead junior developers
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
