We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Tricor Global Digital team:
Key Responsibilities:
• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be accountable for implementing software solutions as one of the most senior engineers on a 4-6 person scrum team
• You will contribute to the product’s more complex components and focus on building quality software
• Code quality will be one of your core areas of focus – ensuring your team’s user stories are effectively tested, peer-reviewed and well documented
• You will embrace learning modern technologies and their place within our tech stack You will work to ensure new tech is brought forward to the team to solve problems
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud-based applications
• Using source control system (preferably Git) and project management system (preferably Jira)
• Being self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose
Who we are looking for:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline
• 5+ years full stack development, from deployment APIs, and database technologies through to front-end frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience in programming languages - Node.js, React
• 3+ years of experience with DevOps and application containerization tools like GitHub, GitHub Actions, Docker
• Experience in Azure cloud platform and Azure functions will be added advantage
• Experience in React Native will be added advantage
• Experience working with Agile, Scrum and modern engineering practices like maintaining a single product backlog
• Qualification of Programming: Node.js, Typescript, Gatsby, React
• Service Development: RESTful services, Microservices, Serverless, Github Actions
• Azure: Compute, Storage, Azure Functions
• Knowledge of Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of Designing a High Availability System
• Knowledge of Elastic, Logstash, Kibana
• Knowledge of Microservices, APIs and gateways
• Knowledge of Relational and NoSQL Data Stores
• Knowledge of React, Node.js
• Knowledge of Monitoring and alerting tools
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and independent
• The desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in Digital products will be added advantage
• Good experience in working with offshore users & development teams
