Job Description Summary: PayPal Payouts team is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us build a platform that helps merchants to send mass payments to their payees around the world. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for compliance, KYC, and tax-related projects. Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java, EJB, JSF, Javascript, HTML and CSS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software applications meet business requirements
Implement batch and schedule jobs using appropriate technologies
Use Github and Intellij for version control and development
Participate in code reviews, code documentation, and maintenance
Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code
Test software applications to ensure they meet quality standards
Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and programming languages
Contribute to the overall development and maintenance of the software development process
Participate in the design and implementation of new software features and functionalities
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a software engineer
Strong experience with Java, EJB, JSF, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and other programming languages as required
Experience with batch and schedule jobs
Proficient in Github and Intellij
Experience with modern javascript frameworks like ES6, Webpack, Reactjs is an asset
Experience working with compliance, KYC, and tax-related projects is preferred
Familiarity with MacOS
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
