Job Description
What you’ll do:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications.
Take ownership of end-to-end application development, including gathering requirements, architecting solutions, coding, testing, and deployment.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with various systems and third-party services.
Utilize Entity Framework and Code First approach to design and manage database schemas and models.
Develop and manage applications in accordance with best practices, including proper documentation, coding standards, and version control.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to established guidelines.
Work closely with Azure DevOps Boards & Repos to manage work items, track progress, and collaborate with team members effectively.
Design and implement microservices architecture to enable scalability and modularity of the software systems.
Write efficient T-SQL queries and manage database operations such as DDL and DML statements.
Develop and deploy Azure Functions for serverless computing and event-driven architectures.
Perform comprehensive unit testing using C# and ensure the reliability and performance of the software.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to continually enhance skills and contribute innovative ideas to the team.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and offer solutions to meet business objectives.
Assist in mentoring and guiding junior team members, providing technical expertise and support when needed.
What makes you a great fit:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
Experience developing C#, Python, C++, or similar language software.
Strong proficiency in. NET and C# programming languages.
Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and integration with external systems.
In-depth knowledge of Entity Framework and Code First approach for designing and managing databases.
Solid understanding of application development and management processes, including SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps Boards & Repos for managing work items and version control.
Experience with microservices architecture and its implementation.
Strong skills in T-SQL, including DDL and DML operations.
Familiarity with Azure Functions for serverless computing.
Proficient in C# unit testing frameworks and practices.
Hands-on experience with Visual Studio 2026/2026 and other relevant development tools.
Knowledge of Python as an add-on skill is desirable.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
