Key Responsibilities
• Gathering and specifying software requirements.
• Performing high-level and low-level design and documentation.
• Architecting, designing, and developing embedded software as per defined requirements.
• Integrating and testing software.
• Leading and coaching the team.
• Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Writing software requirement specifications.
• Creating designs for assigned modules.
• Implementing code for assigned requirements.
• Performing unit testing.
• Conducting peer reviews or inspections of software work products.
• Supporting the testing team in defect analysis.
• Adhering to quality processes.
Expirence Requirements:
• 5+ years of extensive experience in embedded system software design, development, and testing.
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written English.
Must-have specialized knowledge:
• Embedded C
• Electronics
• RTOS
• Microcontrollers (RISC, CISC)
• CAN Communication & Protocols (UDS, KWP2000, CANopen, J1+3+)
• MISRA standards (2000/2012).
• SDLC, Agile Scrum
• Static analysis & tools (LDRA, QAC, Vector cast)
• Requirement management & tools (Polarion or equivalent)
• Change management & tools (JIRA/VSTS)
• Version control & tools (SVN/GIT/Clearcase)
• Traceability management & tools (Reqtify or equivalent)
• Software architecture & design methodologies (UML)
• Software design tools (Enterprise Architect or equivalent)
• Software Test Life Cycle
Preferred specialized knowledge:
• Functional safety lifecycle & management applicable to software design & development.
• Safety standards (IEC-61508, ISO-26262, ISO-2511+, ISO-1384+).
Qualifications: B.E/B. Tech/M. Tech/Master (Electronics/Telecommunications/Computer Science) or equivalent
