Senior Software Engineer | Java or Python & Oracle | London | Up to £+0,000 + Bonus | DV Clearance Required
MERITUS are working with an expanding security consultancy looking for experienced senior software engineers to join their London consulting team. There are 2 positions available.
If successful you will join an experienced team working to design, build & maintain secure applications for Security customers including web & server based applications. To be successful you will need in depth programming experience in either Java or Python as well as strong experience managing relational databases ideally Oracle based.
The role is based on customer site in Central London & they require candidates to hold active DV security clearance.
Main Responsibilities
Working closely with customer teams to design, build & maintain secure applications & platforms in Java or Python.
Managing Oracle relational databases.
Developing solutions in a highly Agile / Scrum environment.
Skills Required
In depth experience programming in either Java or Python.
Understanding of relational databases, ideally Oracle.
Active DV Security Clearance.
Desirable Skills
Exposure to the following would be beneficial but not required:
Exposure to DevOps tools / practices (CI/CD, Containerisation etc.).
Exposure to cloud infrastructure ideally AWS.
Package Details
Salary up to £+0,000
£3,000 bonus + annual performance bonus
