Our client, a leading software house in Birmingham, is now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team of Platform Engineers.
A hybrid role, requiring you in Birmingham once a week, this role is suitable for a "polyglot" engineer that is keen to work with a variety of technologies on a day-to-day basis.
Role: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Birmingham - Hybrid - 1 day a week onsite
Salary: £65k to £80k
Must-Haves:
• JavaScript, Node.js, CSS, HTML
• SQL (Postgres a plus)
• Go (Golang) or experience in Java, C# or Python
• GCP or AWS experience
• Test automation pro
• Delivers high-quality projects on time
• Agile team player
Nice-to-Haves:
• Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
• Kubernetes
• Serverless functions
• CI/CD
• End-to-end testing frameworks
