Quantta Analytics is looking for a Mid-level Senior Software Development Engineer, Android who is passionate about building great features to influence millions of users and has hands-on experience in native mobile app development.
Snapshot of Your Responsibilities
• Develop features & functionalities
• Improve and design high-efficiency modules to deliver a great user experience
• Mentor peer engineers to improve on code quality
• Review system architecture to help build scalable solutions
• Ability to Develop & execute manual & automated test cases
What You Will Need
• Preferably 3 - 5 years' experience
• Experience in developing native mobile applications with a strong android architecture background
• Expert level knowledge of Kotlin development, android concepts.
• A familiarity with the android tool ecosystem for development, designing, testing, debugging, profiling and performance benchmarking.
• Proficient in using Android Studio and Android debugging tools etc.
• Strong UX/UI design exposure and experience in making apps work intuitively and with pixel perfect interfaces
• UX and design sensibilities with advance animations and effects.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development, Writing Integration/Unit Test
• Understanding of Google's design principles and interface guidelines
• You have working knowledge of several architectural approaches, caching, data storage and security.
• You are highly accountable and take ownership. You also have a collaborative attitude, because 'Your Problem Is My Problem' (YPIMP)
Bonus Points for Familiarity with These Areas
• Firebase, Google Play store and Android crash reporting tools.
• Health device integration, like – Apple health, Google Health, Oura, Samsung Health, Garmin Health, etc.
• Location based recommendation engine with GPS location.
• Data visualization in advance chart view.
• 3rd party service integrations, like – Payment gateway, Sign in through 3rd part accounts. Etc.
