Role overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer We are seeking to join a temporary cross-functional team focused on exploring Generative AI (Gen AI) capabilities. This discovery project aims to investigate and define potential Gen AI platform solutions within our suite of in-house editorial tools. The team is distributed, but most members are based in London, with office space available for candidates who prefer an in-person working environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, particularly in API development, microservices architecture, and cloud-based platforms like AWS. Proficiency in Node.js is essential for this role. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of building scalable, efficient software solutions and working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
While not required, experience with Generative AI, Software as a Service (SaaS), or programming languages like Scala would be a significant advantage. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of editorial tooling by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and innovative thinking.

• Experience with providing coaching and mentoring
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, contributing to the development of business scenarios.
• Knowledge of software development tools and technologies.
• You are flexible and curious in your approach • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
