The AWM Technical Lead should have a solid understanding of web development processes from inception to deployment along with strong leadership skill. This role will require excellent problem-solving skills and flexibility due to the changing needs of the business. This individual should be able to translate our customer needs into functional and appealing websites and aspire to combine usability and accessibility with visual designs. This role should lead the initiative to create a functional and attractive digital environment for our company, ensuring great user experience. Key Responsibilities • Lead development team(s) to execute assigned project(s) supporting the digital capability (DC) • Analyze application requirements and provide recommended design to support the business • Oversee planning and execution of project(s) to deliver on intended outcomes • Identify dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to appropriate levels of management and stakeholders across assigned project(s). • Actively engage stakeholders of problem project(s) to assist with identifying corrective actions. • Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, documentation, deployment, and support • As a member working in a team environment, you will work with security officer, solution architect, enterprise architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical solution • Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse • Strong Technical writing skills for updating supporting documentation, Knowledgebase articles etc. • Follow Agile development practices for project execution • Provide technical support and training to appropriate stakeholders Desired Candidate Characteristics: • Demonstrated leadership experience • Must be open to various technology rotations • Have a strong commitment to a career in technology with a passion for healthcare • Ability to understand the needs of the business and commitment to deliver the best user experience and adoption • Able to collaborate across multiple teams • Excellent communication skills • Innovative and inquisitive nature to ask questions, offer bold ideas and challenge the status quo • Agility to learn new tools and processes Qualifications & Experience • Undergraduate degree in the field of Information Technology or Computer Science from an accredited university • 10+ year experience to design, build, and maintain systems and solve complex experience management operations and automation challenges. • 5+ years of experience in web applications, web API, CMS and/or DAM implementations. • 5+ years of programming experience in Python, Node.JS, SQL, Shell/Power scripting • 3+ years of experience of Technical Lead/Delivery Lead • Experience designing and building platform with microservice architecture • Demonstrates proficiency in area of specialization/responsibility. Lead initiatives related to continuous improvement or implementation of modern technologies. • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Works independently on most deliverables. Responsible for the direct management of a team including results/outcomes, goal setting, performance management, coaching. • Certification or prior experience in one or more of the following technologies preferred: Gigya, AEM, Salesforce Orchestra CMS, Brightcove and Adobe Analytics. • In-Depth knowledge of AWS Code, S3, CloudWatch, Code Pipeline, KMS, RDS, lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CDN and CloudWatch • Experience building a Serverless Framework • AWS Certified - Solution Architect Associate/Professional. • Experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industry will be a plus. • Agile certification and prior experience of scrum master will be plus point • People manager level with supervisory responsibility for Individual Contributor and People Manager positions • Demonstrates openness to learning and developing. Takes responsibility for their own development and growth. • Gives others challenging opportunities to build strong capabilities for team. Helps drive a culture which motivates awareness and learning through creating space for conversations and debate. • Demonstrates a focus on improving processes, structures, and knowledge within the team.
