Summary

Design, code, test, integrate and maintain scalable and reliable software applications using Python, Web Services and Web Frameworks. Candidate has to have high aptitude for problem solving and eagerness to learn a wide spectrum of technologies and platforms

Primary Responsibilities
• Work as part of an agile development team to design, estimate, develop and implement software solutions that satisfy the business requirements
• Establish testing procedures to ensure application is thoroughly tested throughout development and before release
• Collaborate with other developers, as necessary, to resolve different tasks.
• Work independently as necessary
• Monitor and report to management on project status; identify issues that may impede attainment of goals, recommend and implement corrective measures
• Continuously learn and expand knowledge in area of specialization

Education/Experience
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with Python
• Experience with relational databases, including SQL. PostgreSQL is a plus
• Experience with developing User Interfaces, including knowledge of Angular JS
• Familiarity with JSON and RESTful Web Services
• Experience working with large data sets and databases
• Experience with Agile development approach and methodologies
• Capable of performing tasks in a dynamic/changing environment
• Experience in the automotive domain is a plus

Organizational Relationships
• Reports directly to development management.
• Interacts with other colleagues at all levels in the conduct of day-to-day activities
• Participates in meetings with internal stakeholders to assess business need
