About This Team
YOU as a Senior Software engineer will have the opportunity to collaborate with the brightest engineering minds and work on cutting-edge technology in the area of Cloud & Security.
Position Overview:
Citrix Workspace Security team is on a mission to provide the best application delivery experience for modern application architectures deployed on cloud-native infrastructure including Kubernetes.
Citrix Gateway Service (CGS) is a cloud based HDX-Proxy solution that provides secure remote access through a cloud- based gateway that front-ends virtual apps and desktop environments.
We are looking for talented and highly motivated software engineering leaders interested in taking on challenges associated with security, performance, scale, usability, and visibility in a distributed environment.
Role Responsibilities:
• Must have good experience in automation testing using Python/ Perl. Python is preferred.
• Responsible for ADC Sanity test development and execution of tests covering various
NetScaler features.
• Gather deployment use cases from various feature Teams for identified
features.
• Builds complex testbed replicating customer like environment
• Identify issues and work with development and hardware teams for timely resolution
• Recreate customer reported issues in-house to identify the root cause and solve complex
network challenges
• Enable Self-Service of Automated Test Suites.
• Establish and maintain documentation of all work
• Review test results and bug descriptions for accuracy
Basic Qualification:
• BE/ME degree in computer science or other related disciplines
• 3-8 years of network product automation testing experience
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP protocol stack (L2 through L7)
• Good understanding of FreeBSD / Linux environments
• Mandatory Scripting knowledge on any scripting language preferably Python.
• Strong understanding of system internals and system architecture
• Strong programming proficiency in Perl and/or Python to automate test cases
• Knowledge of various test tool vendor software and industry standard test software’s
• Strong knowledge and experience with test methodologies, QA processes, and software release cycle
• Demonstrated ability to develop test strategy documents, test plans and test cases
• Strong knowledge of release procedures
• Solid proficiency in test effort estimation and tracking.
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with a cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Google)
• Knowledge of microservices using Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with network security domain and knowledge of SSL , VPN, IPSEC etc.
