This is a highly collaborative, cross-functioning team that includes developers, designers, product managers, and engineers.
About the role:
• Leading and contributing to the engineering development
• Designing & engineering exciting new features and launch new products. Much of the work involves building user interfaces and visualizations for showing complex relationships, massive amounts of data, and intuitive user workflows.
• Ensuring the best product performance and securing the vulnerabilities.
• Managing CI/CD if required.
• Building highly reusable and shared components as part of our next-generation Platform.
• All team members play a pivotal role in the success of the product, with everyone sharing a voice in product, experience, and engineering.
• Building complex web applications using TypeScript and related technologies.
• Build a lot of customer-facing services to run the most critical elements of business-like licensing, downloads, etc
• Building UI and visualization for showing massive data and user workflows
• Own, develop, deploy and optimize one or more critical web services.
About You & Experience:
• You are an Engineering with a proven experience of 8+ years and a passion for solving difficult software problems using Java and web related technologies.
• In addition, you have experience leading large, complex SPA (single page applications) and the Engineering team as a technical leader.
• Proficient understanding of libraries/frameworks like Webpack, Jasmine, Jest/Karma, SCSS (or any other CSS pre-processor), Angular/React/Vue, etc.
• Hands-on experience working with modern Typescript, JavaScript frameworks, preferably the latest versions of Angular/React
• Excellent command over OOAD (Object-oriented analysis and design) concepts with good Typescript and how to use it to produce clean, readable, and well-tested code.
• Solid comprehension of fundamentals of web-technologies
• Nice to have - Go, understanding of DB
• You partner with other Engineering and PM leaders to drive large, cross-team initiatives.
• You cultivate or suggest and, drive performance and security benchmarking.
• You drive the best CI/CD practices.
• You mentor to other developers - someone to look up to and aspire to be
• You are able to convey solutions of any complex problems to various audiences, including non-engineering people, persuade them and ensure effective communication by displaying a level of social and emotional intelligence.
