Job Description
We are building the core engineering team of Furrl. You will get to lay the framework for a high-performant and scalable architecture— an opportunity to craft a next-generation fashion shopping experience from the ground up.
Roles and Responsibilities
Play a key role in architecting and developing our core systems from the early days.
Hands-on involvement in software development, contributing towards the team’s goals.
Guide junior team members in making strategic technical decisions.
Find and address performance issues.
Collaborate with other departments, including product, design, and marketing, to understand business needs and translate those into technical requirements.
Implement best practices for software development, including agile development, code reviews, testing, and continuous integration and delivery.
Skills (Must have)
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience with software engineering.
• Strong expertise in backend languages/frameworks, preferably Node.js.
• Expertise in any RDBMS or No SQL databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Basic understanding of DevOps.
• Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficiency with Git
### Bonus points if you
• Have shipped consumer products that are being used at scale
• Have any other native or hybrid mobile app development experience
• Are enthusiastic about being a part of a startup and enjoy taking end to end ownership of tasks.
