Senior Software Engineer - Product Security
We're looking for an Senior Software Engineer candidate with experience in DevSec, AppSec, Product Security, to join our team in Bangalore.
You will report to the Senior Director, Development.
You will be part of Product Security team. Informatica is the clear market leader of the Integration Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS) and on Prem Data Integration software providers with wide variety of products like Data Integration, Data Quality, Information Lifecycle Management, Test Data Management, Master Management and other Enterprise Information Management. Thousands of customers rely on our service to move billions of records daily. You will implement industry-leading technologies and practices to bake in scalability, reliability, and security during product design. You will ensure security and compliance are important parts of Informatica's core values of innovation and customer delight.

DevSec, AppSec, Product Security
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do
• Participate in Product Security life cycle for reporting and remediating vulnerabilities across all Informatica products and applications.
• Be a technical subject matter expert for VAPT and secure code development practices.
• Help improve security and risk posture and solve scalability challenges with engineering teams
• Automate security assessments to make the global security team more efficient, integrating processes together, finding security flaws
• Develop processes that ensure developers to self-serve for most operational tasks.
• Participate in Perform threat modelling, conduct reviews of security architecture and platform/service designs, and audit source code.
• Introduce and develop new approaches for vulnerability hunting.
What We'd Like to See
• Security Certifications
• Excellent programming experience (design, coding and debugging) and secure code review skills for applications built on modern tech stacks like Java, Node, Go, PHP, Python, Angular, React.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
Role Essentials
• 3+ years of experience in a technical role in Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Cyber Incident Response, or Penetration Testing/Red Team
• Working knowledge in Informatica latest tech products -IICS, CDQ and CAI
• Understanding of Security Controls in Informatica products and information security risk-based prioritisation abilities.
• Good skills in Software Security Threat Modelling and Architecture Review
• Understanding of Multi Tenant Cloud and microservices-based solutions.
• Familiarity with the leading tool-sets including penetration testing and automation
• Have a understanding of OS and their underlying components/ Networking basics.
• Hands-on experience in Bourne/Korn Shell, Python/Ruby/Go with exposure to CI/CD tools, AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud, Docker and Kubernetes
• BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant professional experience
