Designation: Senior Software Engineer
Role: Full Stack Developer
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of building a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. We are also looking for someone with experience in AWS.
As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.
An AWS developer is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and evolving the cloud infrastructure of web applications. AWS developers are expected to understand the core AWS services and apply best practices regarding security and scalability.
If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.
Software development experience: >3 years.
Backend: NodeJS, Express, Serverless, Document databases like DynamoDB
Frontend: React, NextJS
Other expertise: Knowledge in OCR software’s is a huge plus
Domain: Experience working on financial products, especially insurance is a plus.
Proficiency in AWS is a Plus
Requirements:
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Thorough understanding of Node.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Hands on experience with HTML, CSS, and AJAX
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Development experience designing object-oriented JavaScript and SVG
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Ability to design and maintain data in dynamo DB, PL SQL is must
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude
• Attention to detail
Good to have:
• Understand the core AWS services and apply best practices regarding security and scalability would be an added advantage.
• Debugging skills using Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail in AWS is a plus.
• Configuration and Deployment of new code bases in AWS using CICD pipeline
• Exposure to test automation framework like Protractor or react testing library.
• Knowledge in API key management (AWS KMS) for security configuration.
• API throughout measurement, throttling using modern API gateway.
