Staq has partnered with an exciting tech company in the VR simulation training industry! Our client is revolutionizing simulation training by making high-end simulation capabilities accessible to anyone, anywhere, at any time. Their innovative use of VR technology combined with data capture, analysis, and machine learning (ML) enables them to measure, evaluate, and predict human performance, thus improving training outcomes while reducing costs and carbon footprints. They are currently seeking a Senior Azure Developer to join their dynamic Dev team. How would your day-to-day look like? Work on the backend development and maintenance of their data-focused product Design both client and server-side architecture Develop and manage efficient databases Write effective APIs for various client requirements Conduct testing to ensure software correctness Troubleshoot, debug, support, and upgrade software deployments Implement best-in-class security and data protection measures Write comprehensive technical documentation and user guides Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to continually improve software and services What are we looking for? 5+ years of experience as a Microsoft Azure developer Senior development experience Ability to work under pressure Up-to-date with the latest software development practices Experience with API development in .NET Experience with CI/CD pipelines like Github Actions, AzureDevOps, Jenkins, or others Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Arm/Bicep templates Good understanding of networking and security in software development and infrastructure Good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, including Microservices Experience with code versioning tools like Github and different branching strategies Excellent communication and teamwork skills Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field Bonus Points Experience developing distributed on-prem solutions Experience designing data-intensive applications Experience with containers and container orchestration Experience in related industries such as gaming, simulation, esports, fitness, etc. Participation in high-profile open-source projects Characteristics that are important for the role: Take responsibility and own your work Good problem-solving skills; innovative, creative, proactive, and collaborative Comfortable being customer-facing and enjoy relationship-building Agile mindset; iterate and always delivering What's in it for you?
