• About the Role - Senior Software Engineer
Process Transformation & Intelligent Automation (PTIA) group is looking for Senior Software Engineer to participate on the solution delivery and the review function of the automation group. The role involves in working with the PTIA group's transformation initiatives, implementing new development ideas and review checkpoints. The role will adapt with the existing development & design review function and work innovative development solutions for the wider group.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead all aspects of application architecture, design, development, testing & debugging, implementation, and maintenance of all the product features that are being developed in the business automation team of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) group. This role is primarily involved in Technology and Business Transformation efforts.
• Participate in creating project, application, functional design, and support documentation and mentor them to solve complex problems
• Research new technologies, frameworks, tools, proof of concepts. Develop reusable solutions that can be shared with multiple groups
• Ability to work with multiple technology service groups(Document understanding, Kofax, lightweight workflows etc.,) within the bank to bring in composite capability to the stakeholders
• Participate in discovery of business processes
• Drive Development of Automations using UiPath
• Understand the Process Automation requirements from Business and map/align them to larger RPA platform
• Design/build the solutions to enhance the RPA platform offering
• Data Engineer models for Celonis Process Mining
• Ability to architect the complete end-to-end solutions aligning to broader Wells Fargo architecture community standards and frameworks.
• Troubleshoot issues in RPA Automations/Platforms using tools & technology
• Facilitate non-production platform management for building rapid applications development using platforms and tools
• Work in a fast-paced iterative SDLC process employing agile methodologies
• Source control, branching, build and release management
• Drive Quality Assurance of Automation
• Participate in application code / design reviews
• Perform security analysis and participate/drive security reviews
• Participate in BCP / Disaster Recovery exercises
• Deliver end to end build & deployment process using CI/CD/DevOps tools
• Essential Qualifications
• Requires a bachelor's degree (B.E/ B.Tech) in a related area.
• 8+ years of application development and implementation experience including hands-on SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
• 4+ year of experience in architecting the solutions
• 6+ years of . Net / Java experience
• 6+ years of Object Oriented Design (OOD) experience
• 4+ Years of experience in UiPath and its latest features including RPA, RDA & OCR development
• 1+ years of experience in Process Mining tools like Celonis
• Excellent experience in application architecture, integration and rationalization
• Exposure to new technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Document understanding, light weight workflows, Process mining is an added advantage.
• Well versed in Service Oriented Architecture, Database and Design principles.
• Ability to think out of the box to design, build and implement solutions across various business lines
• Good understanding of the Software Development Process
• Proven track of managing customer facing projects using Agile methodology
• Proven experience in delivering project on time, budget and quality.
• Possess strong problem solving and decision making skills while using good judgement
• Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external team members and the business stakeholders
• Good understanding and troubleshooting of automation tool platform along with supporting infrastructure management

• VB.Net / , JavaScript, WebAPI, SQL Server
• OCR tools like Abby, Omnipage, Google, Kofax

• Possess deeper technical skills and Lead a team of technology specialists and train/guide/mentor them on day to day basis

• Knowledge of Cloud architecture and migration procedures
• Deployment of defined front line risk methodology
• Own & execute maintenance of automation delivered
• Manage the non-production environment of the automation platform including all tasks related to windows server management and tool configuration management
