Key Responsibilities:
Develop sound technical practices within the team. Communicate technical point of view. Collaborate with internal and external team on integrations and innovative ideas. Participate in product team agile ceremonies. Work with Product manager/Product designer to define technical features and user stories. Coding and technical configuration. Collaborate with Enterprise architecture on strategic technical solutions.
Qualifications:
• 5-10 years Technical/Software engineer or craftsmanship role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High degree of self-motivation and ability to operate with limited supervision
• Candidate is up to date and knowledgeable of Ford Technical standards and Industry wide best practices
• Results orientated with a customer focused attitude
• Knowledge of AGILE methodologies/tools including Rally
• Leadership/ability collaborate on technical solutions and designs
• Ability and passion for designing new solutions with architecture
• Experience and appreciation for TDD and pair programming
• Guides and coaches’ other software engineers on product teams.
• Serves as technical SME on product functionalities, integrations, and anticipated roadmap.
• Organizes and contributes to team learning events.
• Strictly adopts Technology and Architecture standards.
• Leverages tools to support DevOps and debug production issues.
• Provides and enforces software craftsmanship standards
• Serves as a liaison with other groups for specific technical competencies.
• Leads the adoption of new trends and methods.
