Role Overview
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer who will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction and development of our innovative platform. You will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing robust and scalable full-stack solutions that leverage technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, AWS cloud services, and Solidity for blockchain integration. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will provide technical leadership, mentorship to the engineering team, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to shape the future of our product.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from ideation and architecture to implementation and deployment.
• Architect and build full-stack applications using Angular and TypeScript, ensuring seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
• Design and implement smart contracts and blockchain functionality using Solidity to enhance the security and transparency of our platform will be an added advantage to the role.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to refine and clarify technical requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of talented software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and identify opportunities to leverage them for the improvement of our platform.
• Manage deployment processes and work closely with DevOps teams to ensure reliable and efficient operation of the software.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in software engineering, with a focus on full-stack development using Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, microservices architecture, and cloud-native application development.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technology and experience with Solidity for creating smart contracts.
• Prior experience in a technical leadership role, guiding and mentoring engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and a track record of delivering software iteratively and on schedule.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
