Job Summary
Join our talented team in Danbury, CT as a Sr. Software Engineer! This individual will be involved with the design, development, analysis, testing and debugging of embedded computer software applications and systems. May include Image and Signal Processing, Real-time, Firmware, Nuclear/Hi-Rel, FAA Certified, Database Design, Operating Systems, Operator/Machine Interface, or others.
What You Will Do
• Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems• Responsible for working and collaborating within a team of multi-disciplinary environment to complete the development tasks on time• Responsible for troubleshooting interface with other subsystems and determine hardware compatibility• Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance• Attend appropriate engineering, customer, or business meetings• Interact with users to define system requirements and necessary modifications
Education & Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field with a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Experience with C/C++ programming language
• Experience with IDE to build and debug embedded applications
• Experience with version control tools such as GitLab or bit bucket
• Experience with scripting language such as Python is desired
• Experience with build tools such as Jenkins or any experience with continuous integration process is a plus
• Experience with unit test tools for windows based embedded development systems
• Knowledgeable in electronic circuit design is desired
• Experience with graphical software development platforms (MATLAB/LabView) and Digital Signal Processors is highly desired
