Your Day to Day
As a Front-end developer you will be expected to deliver state of the art UI components and JavaScript applications.
You will collaborate with Product Managers, UX, and Software Engineers to deliver high quality JavaScript applications
You will produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration
You will create intuitive user interfaces using the latest web technologies including React.js, Redux, and Node.js
You will keep on top of emerging front-end development methods and technologies and actively share knowledge within our community of web developers
You will demonstrate customer empathy and champion for the customer informed by research, data, and customer feedback
You have a deep interest, understanding and/or passion to learn and grow in the front-end development space.
You can effectively collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment
You will be a self-driven individual contributor and strive to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
You will write efficient and maintainable software components, which are seamlessly integrated into the infrastructure of our leading products
You will work in a cross-functional & multi-geo scrum team adhering to the best practices in software development
What we are looking for :-
Expert knowledge in foundational web development (HTML, CSS)
Expert knowledge of the DOM and element manipulation
Expert knowledge of vanilla JavaScript
Strong knowledge of modern front-end frameworks including React, Angular etc
Some knowledge of Typescript would be helpful
Strong debugging techniques with tools such as Chrome/Safari Dev Tools
Familiarity of RESTful APIs and working with databases
Ability and willingness to adapt and learn new technologies
