About the Team
The mission of Business Operations (BizOps) is to establish our product-led packaging, subscription model, and billing and scale them as we expand and grow our business.
Our Monetization team is responsible for building robust Billing systems, focusing on payments, renewals, sales tax, and revenue. We also work closely with all the teams to integrate their products with our packaging model thus offering our customers the best features, pricing, and services through both self-serve purchases and our Sales channels.
We’re looking for an experienced software engineer that will lead our initiatives for both in-product purchase and trial experiences and improvements to internal tools to match the scale of the growth of Postman.
What you'll be doing
Contribute to the powerful, dynamic, and fully config-driven Billing system for a seamless trial, purchase, and payment experience
Design and build for high performance, reliability, security & user experience.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering functions within a small, close-knit team.
Hold the bar high for product quality and mentor your teammates to meet this bar by introducing better engineering practices and contributing to testing automation.
You would be a great fit if you
Have prior experience (4+ years) working on large-scale JavaScript applications
Are proficient with React, JavaScript, Node.js and have a strong understanding of web & frontend fundamentals & infrastructure
Have a really good understanding of backend systems, API designs, and schemas to design a dynamic data-driven client-server contract
Have a bias towards action and has a track record of getting stuff done under constraints
Have a customer-centric mindset and would like to take on challenges irrespective of the difficulty level
