Main Tasks And Responsibilities
• Contribute to early-solutioning work by supporting Product Owners, Business Analysts and Architects to review feasibility and high-level estimation
• Work with the Team to elaborate the product backlog by analysing & clarifying details, risk and dependencies for user stories including splitting these where necessary to make sure each story can be delivered within one sprint
• Clarify and where necessary propose acceptance criteria to ensure each user story has appropriate test cases which can be delivered and demoed within one sprint
• Participate in sprint planning to distribute the work as part of the self-organising team
• Develop code and automated tests for test cases to meet the expected functionality and acceptance criteria of the user stories
• Ensure the code produced by the team is managed properly, peer reviewed and meets expected standards by participation in the code review process
• Collaborate with other teams as necessary to ensure sprint goals are met
• Support deployment of application to higher environments by following and supporting enchantment of the CI/CD process as necessary
• Create documentation for project and product’s features developed by team in accordance with accepted standards
• Analyse reported defects and incidents and work on resolving these as per appropriate priority agreed with Product Owner
• Understand and effectively participate in the core processes of the team (planning, bug fixing, metrics review, etc)
• Share new ideas and can adapt his/her work when circumstances change
• Listen and act upon feedback from manager and peers and use it for further career grow
• Interview and assess candidates to help build a diverse and talented team. Consistently provide timely, detailed, and evidence-based interview feedback.
• Write code with good quality - checking that the code does not contain errors that prevent the work of others in the team (QA Engineer). Ensures that code is well documented and tested with appropriate use of tools in the project.
• Capable of reading and navigating through code written by someone else
Requirements
Experience in:
JavaScript development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), React/Angular
Using IDE and CI/CD related tools (Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, Git, Docker)
