Senior Software Engineer Industry: Financial Services Location: UK
• Fully Remote Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Up to £125,000 + benefits The Role: We're delighted to have partnered with a disruptive and ambitious trading technology start-up. The organisation have encountered a very exciting growth period and looking to expand all areas of development. They need a Senior Engineer to play a key role in the architecture and building of the platform. The role involves working with both C++ and Golang with the hope of migrating services over to Rust as part of their strategic roadmap. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Linux C++ developer with a keen eye for detail and an overriding passion for technology and software development. Essential Skills:
• At least 3 years' experience in C++14, C++17 or C++20
• Git version control
• Linux Networking
• Linux systems programming
• Python & Shell Scripting Desirable Experience:
• At least one of TCP, Multicast, FIX or Binary protocols
• Network packet capture & analyais
• Aeron messaging
• Kubernetes & Docker
