VitalCheck is a medical company based in New York. We aim to create simple, intuitive and convenient EMR solutions for corporate wellness by bringing doctors to workplaces. As VitalCheck engineer, your customers/partners are:
• Hard-working employees/patients who normally don’t have time to see a doctor
• Doctors who provide efficient and fast service, focusing on preventive healthcare.
• Corporations who invite physicians for visits and provide resources for pop-up clinics at the workplace.
• Our operation team providing medical supplies, answering patient/doctor’s questions.
• Laboratories we integrate with to run blood tests.

• Code new end-to-end features that bring medical services in an innovative way to everyone.
• Researching, investigating and fixing a wide range of technical issues
• Documenting and testing new software applications
• Build solutions that reach thousands of new patients worldwide, providing them with a world class medical service experience
• Work across all tiers leveraging Service-Oriented Architecture, mobile platforms, user experience and analytics
• Requirements for candidates :
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Understanding processes, data workflows and access controls in multi-agent, multi-role echosystems.
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or Python including object-oriented design. Java is preferred.
• Possess an extremely sound understanding of fundamentals of Computer Science such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, Databases. Understanding multithreading is a must.
• Understanding web development, e.g. MVC architechrute.
• Masters in Computer Science or Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the industry.
• “Soft skills” : direct and unapologetic to-the-point communication, constructive criticism of existing solutions, proposing new designs, anticipating problems before they happen, analytical thinking
