We are looking for a software engineer to join our Observability team to support and evolve the design, implementation, and operational support of this platform that is at the core of our engineering and business operations.

You’ll spend time on the following:
Develop and improve instrumentation for monitoring and logging the health and availability of services.
You will collaborate with teams in other organizations to ensure that required business features and reliability and scalability of the platform are implemented effectively
Build service artifacts, plan deployment, coordinate timeline and tasks with project management and teams
Improve service stability by identifying critical service specific metrics, setting meaningful alerting thresholds, and automating alerting responses
Create and maintain documentation for your projects
Mentor junior staff
Drive the discussion and decisions of technical topics related to the team
We’re excited about you if you have:
BS, MS in Computer Sciences or related fields with 6+ years in software development
Huge plus if you have hands on experience working with messaging middleware (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ et al), JMS, AMQP, Apache Camel, Spring, Java, Kafka, Ansible
In-depth experience designing at scale monitoring and logging for corporate infrastructure services.
Good communication and collaboration skills
