Role Description
As a Software Engineer (Infrastructure) at Aleph Technologies, you'll be a vital part of our tech team. You'll shape our cloud and on-prem infrastructure, ensure the security of our platform, and work closely with developers, data scientists, and engineers to build robust, scalable solutions. Your role will involve enhancing backend systems, automating deployments, and keeping our data safe.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage cloud systems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Optimize for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
Security: Implement strong security measures, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Backend Development: Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and frameworks like Django and Flask. Ensure high availability and performance.
DevOps & Automation: Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. Monitor system performance and continuously improve it. Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
On-Premises Deployment: Develop and manage containerized applications for on-premises environments, ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure.
Optimization Engine Design: Architect distributed computing solutions for parallel optimization workloads across different simulation engines.
SDK Integration Pipeline: Create deployment pipelines that handle diverse SDK requirements and process constraints.
Collaboration: Work closely with data science and full-stack development teams. Provide technical guidance and mentorship. Participate in code reviews and promote best practices.
Documentation & Best Practices: Document system architecture, processes, and security protocols. Promote best practices in software development and operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.
Proficiency in backend development with Python.
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
