The Enterprise People Technology team supports the successful deployment and adoption of new People technology across the enterprise. This position is to support Skills+ platform enabling Walmart to improve and move faster in hiring talent, retaining talent and improving talent across the org.

What you'll do:
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including business, product and other software engineers to understand the business problem, review business requirements, draft technical requirements, scope, design, develop, test, and deploy services and systems.
• Engage in design and code reviews, improving operational excellence to ensure high quality, high availability, scalable and performant systems.
• Create large sized, complex applications, services and systems.
• Engage and deliver front-end development to back-end services and data platform.
What you'll bring:
• At least 6+ years of relevant industry experience in building highly available systems.
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership from inception to deployment of complex project in production.
• Effective problem solving skills, ability to make design trade offs, balancing the long-term "big picture" and short-term implications of design decisions.
• Expertise in service oriented architecture, Relational and/or NoSQL Database
• Experience with frontend - react native and react js
• Lead/participate the design, development and implementation of distributed systems leveraging Java, spring boot, Kafka, Spring batch, Cloud deployments etc..
• Solve complex problems with multilayered data sets, multi batch inferencing
• Work cross-functionally with business, product, front-end & back-end engineering teams to ensure alignment and achieve business goals.
• Effectively communicate technical work to senior/executive leaders in both technical and non-technical settings.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trend
