The Opportunity
Digit88 manages and is expanding the dedicated offshore product development team for its US (Bay Area, NYC) based NLP/Chatbot platform development partner, that is building a next-generation AI/NLP/Chatbots based customer engagement platform. The candidate would be joining an existing team of 25+ engineers and help expand the team that develops and delivers cutting-edge front-end applications for our clients that engage with consumers and manage conversations across the world.
Responsibilities
• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development in building high scalable distributed systems.
• Strong foundation in Core Java, Data Structures, and Object-Oriented Design.
• Experience in building & maintaining scalable distributed systems using Java 1.8+, Spring/Spring boot, Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with SQL(MySQL) and No SQL(Cassandra, Mongo or DynamoDB) databases.
• Experience in Amazon tools & services like Lambdas for serverless architectures, Redshift for data warehousing and analytical processing.
• Proven experience in building high-performance, high-availability systems.
• Experience with caching frameworks (e.g., Redis, Memcached) and messaging systems.
• Familiarity building and deploying apps using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools in a cloud environment.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Should Possess
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Good to have AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to analytics pipelines or working with analytics databases (e.g., Redshift, Click House).
• Experience in the design, development, and deployment of agentic AI solutions.
