Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our HDS teams in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work on HDS product line. The team consists of 40+ colleagues and is reporting to Sr Manager. We have a great skill set in JAVA, JAVA8, Spring boot and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in above-mentioned technologies.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or master’s degree (BE, ME, B Tech, M Tech, MCA, MS) with good communication and logical skills
• 4+ years’ experience in JAVA, J2EE, Springboot, Web services, JavaScript/TypeScript, and MS SQL Server.
• Strong technical skills in design and development of web-based applications
• Develop using OOP and SOLID Principles.
• Hands on experience in Entity Framework.
• Experience developing with MS SQL Server database, writing SQL queries, stored procedures etc.
• Experience in RESTful APIs, Windows Presentation Framework and Windows Communication Framework.
• Experience with developing Azure/AWS cloud-native applications.
• Experience with integrated CI/CD
It would be great if you also had
• Experience in team leadership.
• Experience in designing Azure/AWS Cloud-native solutions.
• Experience with security code analysis.
• Experience with SSRS, Dynamo DB, Cosmos DB or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Angular and TypeScript
What will you be doing in this role?
• Participate actively and enthusiastically in one of our agile and cross-functional teams.
• Closely cooperate with our Product Owner, QAs and Ops.
• Design and develop our web applications, as well as interfaces between different systems.
• Document and assure the quality of work through unit and acceptance tests.
• Participate in our regular Community of Practices (Clean Code, Review, Know-Sharing, ...) sessions.
• Continuously improve agile development methods and processes together with your team.
Product you will be developing
Within HDS we have few applications and solutions which address the healthcare market problems through advanced tools, valuable information, and data. The solutions help to get insights by understanding the market, Optimize the access and then Engage with the Customers. Market Landscape and Forecast, Patient Populations, which centers on Epidemiology, Treatment Analysis and Market Access answer key questions for Product Planning and Strategists, Market Researchers & Analyst, and Business Development to help them evaluate opportunities and understand their market landscape.
About the Team
Within HDS (HealthCare Data Solutions) we have a team size of 40+ colleagues who are working on applications catering to Bio-pharma and MedTech business units. HDS is part of Life Sciences Domain. The Technology team supporting these product lines is primarily based out of Bengaluru and few colleagues working from Pune, Noida and Gurgaon locations. Our Tech Stack includes Drupal, Angular, NodeJS, Java, SpringBoot, Sql Server, Postgres, .net framework, etc. We use microservices architecture and cloud-native tools/technologies that include EC2, S3, SQS etc.
