Responsibilities
A Day in the Life
Senior Software Engineer designs, develops, and configures software systems to meet market and/or client requirements. They apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes and tools to support a client, project or entity. We are currently looking for experienced programmers who has good technical expertise in Java technologies and can work as a part of back end development team to develop and support high-availability cloud services written in Java using the Spring framework. As part of a collaborative team and under the supervision of a head of project, he/she will be responsible of designing and developing software products to implement new features and support current applications.
Qualifications
The Basics
• Total Years of Technical Experience: 4-7 years
• Position Specific Experience: 3+ years
• Mentorship/Leads by Example Experience: 1 years
• Project/ Client Engagement/ Customer Facing Experience: 2 years
Techie Aptitude
• Work with client counterpart and act as point of contact for one or more projects.
• Develop web-based solutions to support various work-flow activities within the business and perform unit and integration testing
• Provide technical design, coding assistance to the team to accomplish the project deliverables as planned/scoped.
• Perform Research and Development on newest technical components and make recommendations
• Proficient with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Proficient in Core Java, J2EE, any one of frameworks like Spring, Hibernate
• Knowledge or understanding of J2EE design patterns
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Database Experience (MySQL or DB2)
• Knowledge of React JS is preferred.
• Experience with test-driven development
