Primary Responsibilities
• Work as a part of a dynamic team with a focus on designing, writing code and developing applications leveraging multiple tools, languages, processes, and technologies
• Convert business requirements into software design
• Develop new and/or enhance existing application as assigned or provided in technical specifications
• Perform the day to day functions such as running of existing programs, applications, jobs, reviewing logs for errors, writing or editing software and code, performing testing activities, and updating documentation
• Coordination activities with architects, other technical and functional areas as required
• Technologies used are Java, Python, AngularUI and Azure Cloud
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree
• Experience in understanding application design and architecture
• Experience and understanding of software development lifecycle and technologies
• Proven great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Software development management tools (Ex: Rally, Jira, ALM etc.)
• Ability to drive and manage technical design, development and testing
• Adaptable and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
