Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Java Backend Senior Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be
responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure backend applications. The ideal candidate must
have a strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, microservices, database technologies, and Agile methodologies. The
candidate must be able to work well in a team-oriented environment and be able to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders,
and management.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend applications using Java, Spring framework, and other
relevant technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
Write efficient and optimized database queries to handle large amounts of data.
Ensure the quality and reliability of code by writing unit tests and participating in code reviews.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and non-production environments.
Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning, stand-up meetings, retrospectives, and code reviews.
Education/Experience
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining Java backend applications.
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with AWS or other cloud computing platforms.
Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to write clean, efficient, and optimized code.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Elasticsearch
Familiarity with Tracing, Metrics & Dashboards
