You are responsible for creating and maintaining android apps right from requirements to release and continue product development.You will work closely with other team members including other Web Developers, Software Developers, Application Engineers, product managers to test and deploy existing products for various specialists and personnel using the software.You will act in capacity of Senior Software Engineer as necessary to coordinate and organize individual effort towards a successful completion / demo of an application. You will be Implementing projects from conception to introduction and deployment.Key Skills:Should be extremely interested in working in a start-up environment towards the development of cutting-edge products and gadgetsRelevant experience in Android app developmentProficiency in Java and Kotlin (must) languages to write clear, readable, and maintainable codeExperience in Android SDK and Android StudioHands-on experience in mobile app architecture, flow, design, implementation, and releaseMust be familiar with agile development concepts and CI/CD pipelinesExperience in building end-to-end android mobile apps from design, development, and deployments to app storesSound understanding of app lifecycle, architecture principles, and design fundamentalsProblem-solving mindset, analytical abilities, strong technical and communication skillsExcellent debugging skills and knowledge of quality check processesFamiliar with RESTful APIs and XML to connect the app with backend servicesKnowledge of the latest mobile app trends, architectures, and emerging technologiesKnowledge of state management to simplify user interactionFamiliar with Agile and DevOps methodologiesUnderstanding of version control systems and tools, e.g., GitHubExcellent interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and writtenGreat time-management skills and capable to work independentlyCritical thinker, analyzer, and curious professional to build great Android productsPreferred Background:Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is a plusB.S./B.E./M.S./M.E. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Related4+ years’ experience with Kotlin, Android, Java Server, JSP and other Java ToolsUnderstanding of Test-Driven Development environmentsDeep foundation in computer science with a strong understanding in data structures, and algorithms.NAYAN is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
