As a Senior Software Engineer at Tanium, you will take part of a brand new project focused on building a new data hub that will be using LLM tooling. You'll also be collaborating with cross-functional teams and play a key role in ensuring our services meet the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability.

What You’ll Do
• Work with large data sets that will impact all other teams at Tanium, work with big data
• Build a high-performance data platform capable of handling large volumes of data in real time
• Be part of a new initiative to build confidence scores and data anonymization
• Work with various server-side technologies, persistent data stores, caches, and messaging systems
• Create automated unit tests, API tests, integration tests, and ensure quality delivery
• Author technical documentation and artifacts for the developed software

We’re Looking For Someone With

Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• CS Degree or related technical field preferred

Experience
• Eligible for the FedRAMP security clearance
• Software development experience in Go (preferred), Node.js, Rust or Java
• Experience with LLMs
• Experience with cloud technologies (i.e., AWS and Azure)
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm Charts, CloudFormation)
