This Senior Software Engineer role is a technical individual contributor role responsible for development of solutions in our Large Enterprise SaaS market.
What You Will Do
• Work on a team that is responsible for innovating new functionality with AI and ML
• Feature development and maintenance on a web based application using an LLM
• Generate innovative approaches and solutions to complex issues.
• Work in Agile teams following Agile + SAFe methodologies to deliver high quality products on time with performance requirements in mind.
• Build, test and deliver high quality, complex solutions and systems that diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• Generate innovative approaches and solutions to complex issues.
• Implement and drive best software development practice
• Understand the use of technology and how its implementation affects strategic business goals.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for creating application container images and deploying them to a Kubernetes service in Azure
Who You Are
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in software development
• Has the ability to solve problems with limited requirements, and enjoys not being micro managed
• Strong background with noSQL, databases such as Mongo etc
• Experience building REST APIs (any technology), would consider hands on experience with .NET MVC
• Hands-on experience building modular and component-based, front-end applications with a strong grasp of JavaScript and/or Angular
• Ideally experience with containerisation and orchestration e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
• Must be able to employ best practices for designing reusable code and must be able to optimize UI features for maximum speed and scalability
• Successful track record delivering high quality and thoroughly tested products on time
• Able to adhere to technical standards, as well as being able to strongly influence peers within a development team
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
NICE TO HAVES
• Angular skills, or React.js with experience of JavaScript
• Experience of .Net Core Web API
• Experience working in an agile team utilising software development best practices
• Experience/understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
• Interest in Microservice architecture
