• Position: Senior Software Developer / Application Support Team Leader

• Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer who will also serve as an Application Support Team Leader. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to lead and contribute to a variety of key tasks:
• Responsibilities:
- Application Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues related to applications, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Incident and Problem Management: Prioritize and manage application-related incidents and problems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business impact.
- Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth technical knowledge of supported applications, staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, contribute to knowledge management systems, and provide training to enhance overall support capabilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Strive for process optimization, automation, and efficiency gains in application support. Actively participate in post-incident reviews and collaborate with development teams for enhancements.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including application owners, developers, infrastructure teams, and business users.
- Mentoring and Leadership: Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in software specialization, computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Solid experience in reporting tools, BI, and creating Dashboards.
- Proficiency in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in software development using .NET languages (e.g., C#), HTML5/CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with C#\ASP.Net framework with design/architectural patterns (Model-View-Controller (MVC)).
- Experience working with SQL server, Oracle, MySQL, and data-related technologies.
- Knowledge in SSAS is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Passion for learning new technologies and sharing knowledge.
- Previous experience related to team management (3-5 years).
- Special knowledge and experience in IBM Datacap development, BPM Workflow development, BI, Dashboards, and Advanced Reporting.
