Job Description
The Gopuff Cloud Engineering team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and improve automation at the intersection of infrastructure and application.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain applications throughout their lifecycle, from inception to deployment and refinement.
Support applications before they go live through system design consulting, software development, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
Maintain applications once live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
Create libraries and tooling for seamless service integration.
Scale systems sustainably through automation and evolve them by improving reliability and velocity.
Key qualifications include over 6 years of production experience, proficiency in high-level programming languages, knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, and expertise in security architecture, automation, integration, and CI/CD deployment. Experience with public cloud platforms, microservices, and distributed systems is also preferred.
