Your Role and Impact
R Systems International is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Test Engineer to join our team. With expertise in both manual and automated testing, you will drive the quality assurance of web, mobile, and cloud-hosted applications. You will leverage your knowledge of various programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Java, Python, and frameworks like .NET/Java to develop and implement test automation strategies. Your deep understanding of testing tools, such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, and others, combined with your experience in continuous integration and cloud platforms, will allow you to ensure high-quality software delivery. As a key player in the team, you will also mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead efforts in optimizing test processes and frameworks. Your contributions will be pivotal in maintaining robust test coverage, driving efficiency, and ensuring the reliability of both front-end and back-end systems.
Your Contribution
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API platforms using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, WebDriverIO).
• Perform manual and automated testing on front-end (UI/UX) and back-end services (APIs, databases), ensuring functionality and performance across platforms.
• Collaborate with agile teams, including developers, product owners, and scrum masters, to support quality assurance activities and ensure test coverage.
• Analyze user stories, develop test cases, verify new features and tickets, and support regression testing to ensure full requirements traceability and test coverage.
• Lead the creation and implementation of testing strategies, frameworks, and tools for web, mobile, and API platforms, including cloud-hosted applications and IoT-based systems.
• Ensure mobile apps (iOS/Android) comply with platform-specific guidelines and are optimized for performance across multiple devices.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, or equivalent to validate RESTful services.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for test automation using Jenkins, Bamboo, Octopus, etc., to streamline test execution and reporting.
• Manage test metrics and KPIs, providing detailed reports to stakeholders and contributing to decision-making processes for Go/No-Go decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers, review test cases, and ensure that testing practices align with best practices and industry standards.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration on test automation solutions and improvements, optimizing both manual and automated testing processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by researching new tools and techniques, and implementing them into the testing framework.
• Manage relationships with external testing platforms like Perfecto, SourceLab, and LambdaTest to enhance testing capabilities for cloud-based and mobile applications.
