Join the Service Discovery group as a senior software engineer and build new highly distributed and performing services. The team is responsible for critical service registry and discovery capabilities. If you are looking to make an impact then join us to build always available highly distributed systems.
Your day to day activities:
• Design and develop highly scalable and performant applications for mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Continuously think about innovation and promote a mindset of making the system and solutions constantly better.
• Drive to get results and not let anything get in your way.
• Prototype ideas quickly using cutting edge technologies.
What you need to bring to the table:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ hands on experience in Java backend development.
• Demonstrable programming abilities in Java with Spring framework, Spring boot.
• Solid understanding of web services and related standards like REST/JSON
• Expert in Object-Oriented programming and concepts.
• Solid understanding of basic algorithms, design patterns.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript/Node/React.
• Experience with CI/CD, unit testing, and functional testing
• Experience with Github and Jira
• Experience in both relational and non-relational DB, like Oracle and CouchDB
• Exposure to Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and fully committed dynamic individual with ability to adapt and adjust to fast-paced environment
