RESPONSIBILITIES Work directly with business and product owners to solution business needs Work as part of the architecture team to develop new tools and to create proof of concepts using the latest technologies in the domain Able to mentor junior and mid-level team members Able to handle escalations alone both during business hours and during off hours Research and solve issues on critical production applications Able to handle complex application requests without assistance Collaborate with team members to identify the requirements to connect the business layer with other application layers Considered an application owner by the business Collaborate with the architect to ensure proposed solutions meet business needs and expectations Recruit, hire and develop the needed team members with advanced technical competence Any additional task given to the incumbent from time to time based on business needs
REQUIRED SKILLS Java / J2EE, ORM Frameworks, Spring Framework, Web Services, JSON
PREFERRED SKILLS XML, JSF, JavaScript
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum 5 years' experience in Java web application development Experience with server technology stacks such as Java/Java EE Expert in Java, Struts, Services Oriented Architectures, and MVC frameworks Demonstrate high level of proficiency in developing Rest/SOAP web services Experience with code repositories with GIT/SVN Demonstrated ORM experience like Hibernate, JPA, ibatis/myBatis Working experience in designing database schema and creating DDL/DML Minimum 2 years of experience in XML, JSON Expert knowledge operating in a UNIX environment
DOMAIN EXPERIENCE Managed Service Provider – SOC/NOC Business Exposure Telecom/OSS/BSS/Networking Cloud Development.
