Role and Responsibilities
• Help guide data architecture decisions in concert with other team members to design and develop solutions based on Oracle's Cloud-based data and analytics platforms including Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW), Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Translate requirements into technical design and implement integrations pipelines between FAW/ADW and other Oracle and non-Oracle business applications.
• Define integration standards and enforce best practices.
• Perform all other job-related duties as requested.
• Collaborate Effectively with Onsite team and should work in onsite/offshore Model.
• Production Support of FAW
Skill Requirements/Preferences
• Proficiency in ODI/OBIA/OAC
• Proficiency in implementing complex mission critical data pipelines and ELT-based data integration.
• Proficiency in FAW (ERP and SCM), ADW, OAC (Classic, Data Visualization, Semantic Model Development) and ODI
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud/Oracle EBS Financial/SCM Modules
• Technical knowledge of the table structures in Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud ERP and/or Oracle Cloud SCCM (for data extraction purposes)
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Object Storage and Oracle BICC
• Data warehouse design and data modeling for data warehouses (e.g., star schema)
• Data lake design patterns and technologies – object-storage based and otherwise.
• Security design including SSO and row/data level security.
• Prior Oracle data warehouse experience, ideally with integration to/from Oracle Applications/third party applications.
• Excellent SQL query and debugging skills
• Hands-on experience with Rest Web Services, web applications, JSM, transactional databases, and NoSQL databases
• Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
• Manage expectations with ease of handling conflict resolution, mindful of time management and team dynamics.
Education & Experience Requirements
• 10+ plus years of IT experience.
• 8+ years' experience in a hands-on technical development role related to Oracle's Cloud-based analytics platforms including OAC, ADW, ODI and/or FAW. Please note that similar experience with Oracle's on-premises solutions such as OBIEE or BI Apps will also be considered.
• Certifications in OAC and/or ADW preferred.
• Must have experience integrating Oracle ERP and SCM data with CRM (Salesforce) and/or HCM data (Workday)
• Experience with common web connectivity and integration standards/protocols like XML, SOAP, REST, JSON and JDBC
• Experience with Alteryx, Spark or other commercial ETL tools and cloud data pipelines
• Good communications skills, comfortable working with middle and senior management
• 5+ years of experience in an Agile development environment. Experience with SAFe is a plus
