An Android developer must have the ability to:
• Develop engaging mobile applications with standard development tools
• Iterate closely with product managers to develop better user experience
• Research and remain informed of new technology and development tools
• Deliver across the entire app life cycle -concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
• Optimize performance for the app and reverse engineer for debugging errors in code
• Work with designers to implement consistent UI/UX experience on Android
• Architect and implement best-in-class - real time- OS to power mobile phones in the market
• Contribute to the technical possibilities in the road map across other mobile platforms too
Required Skill Sets
• Experience in Mobile Development on the Android platforms
• Expertise in Android frameworks and architecture
• Experience in developing and maintaining mobile applications
• Knowledge of general software design patterns as well as Android design patterns
• Strong development skills in writing Android applications using Android Services
• Debugging experience on C and Android Java environment.
• Experience in implementing secure, transactional mobile apps integrated with web-based services
• Experience in Java, C and C++
• Familiarity with UI/UX design within the mobile environment
Preferred Skill Sets
• Experience in Java with strong object-oriented design skills
• Knowledge / experience on the iOS platform
• Exposure to Hybrid frameworks like Appcelerator Titanium, PhoneGap, etc
Interpersonal Skills
We are looking for a dynamic candidate who qualifies as a team player. He/she must have strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills. Good verbal and non-verbal communication is a must. He/she must be able to adapt to new environments and technologies.
Educational Qualification
Any graduate or post graduate degree in B.E., Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred
