Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Nest.js and Laravel to join our growing development team. You will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs that power our web and mobile applications. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in shaping the technology stack and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Nest.js and Laravel
Create and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints
Optimize application performance and scalability
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning
Ensure security and data protection best practices are implemented
Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose their adoption where applicable
Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of professional experience in backend development
Strong hands-on experience with Nest.js (TypeScript) and Laravel (PHP)
Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs (e.g., TypeORM, Eloquent)
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Experience with GraphQL is a plus
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a bonus
Proficient in Git and modern DevOps workflows (CI/CD)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and lead technical decisions,
